Why choose us

Exam Before Imaging

We start with a clinical assessment and scan only if it changes care.

Right Test, Not Every Test

Imaging is kept focused to answer the clinical question clearly.

Plain-Language Reports

We explain findings in simple terms so decisions feel clear.

Do I need a clinical exam before imaging?

  • First, I will check you. Then only scan.
  • I will see your movement, strength, and nerve signs with my own hands.
  • If a scan will change treatment, we do it. If not, we skip it.
  • Why spend your hard-earned money on an unnecessary scan?

When does imaging help, and when does it not?

Many problems settle with the right guidance and do not require immediate imaging. If your symptoms, exam, and daily function point to a stable condition, we often begin with conservative care and watchful review. Imaging is ordered only if it can confirm or rule out a specific concern that matters for treatment, such as a fracture, instability, or nerve involvement. We avoid scans that won’t change the next step, or when existing reports already answer the right question.

Which scan is right: X-ray, MRI, or CT?

X-Ray

Best for: Bones

Cost: Low

MRI

Best for: Ligaments/Nerves

Cost: High

CT

Best for: Complex Fractures

Cost: Medium

What do report terms actually mean?

Don't panic when you read 'degeneration.' It is common. It is like grey hair in joints. The report is one part only. Your pain pattern and physical check-up matter more. I will explain what is important, what to ignore, and what to do from today.

Confused by your MRI/X-Ray Report?

Don't treat the paper. Treat the patient. We translate complex reports into a simple plan.

Bring your MRI/X-ray films and report for a focused review.

When is imaging useful for orthopedic pain?

Knee: injury with swelling, locking, or suspected ligament damage. Shoulder: loss of motion after injury or suspected rotator cuff problems. Spine: persistent nerve symptoms or weakness that needs clarification (see Spine & Nerve Pain Care). Hip: deep groin pain with stiffness or suspected joint pathology that needs clarification. Fracture: confirming stability and tracking healing (see Fracture & Trauma Care).

If a scan is needed, we keep it focused and aim for same-day reporting when possible.

When is urgent imaging needed?

Checklist: seek urgent imaging if you have

  • Inability to bear weight after an injury
  • Sudden loss of function or new deformity
  • Fever with a hot and swollen joint
  • Progressing numbness or weakness
  • Rapid swelling or severe night pain
  • Symptoms worsening day by day

What is the next step for diagnostics?

Bring your old reports and scans. Bring one family member also. We will review everything together. Then I will tell you exactly what to do: no scan, focused scan, physiotherapy, or procedure. Clear plan. No running around. We save you the cost of a repeat scan.

FAQs

Do I need an X-ray or scan before my OPD visit?

Usually not. We start with your history and exam, then decide together if imaging will change the plan. That is how we approach orthopedic diagnostics here.

Can I bring scans from another center?

Yes. We review outside X-rays or MRI reports carefully and explain what they mean for your situation.

What if my scan is normal but I still have pain?

That can happen. Pain can come from movement patterns, inflammation, or soft tissue issues that do not show clearly on a scan. The exam guides the next step.

Is X-ray safe for children or older adults?

We use X-rays only when helpful and keep exposure limited. If a scan is not necessary, we avoid it.

What does degeneration mean on a report?

It often reflects age-related change. We focus on how it relates to your symptoms and function, not just the wording.

Will imaging decide whether I need surgery?

Imaging is one part of the decision. The exam, your symptoms, and your goals matter just as much.

Will you explain the report to my family?

Yes. We explain findings in plain language so everyone understands what is safe and what is next.
